The Ilorin Journal of Management and Leadership (IJML) with ISSN (3122-069X) is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary scholarly journal published by The Centre for Management and Leadership, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Published biannually (March and September), IJML welcomes submissions throughout the year. IJML serves academics, policymakers, practitioners, and graduate students seeking to contribute to discourses on sustainable leadership, innovation, governance reform, and organizational effectiveness in developing and developed economies alike.

Scope

IJML publishes high-quality manuscripts addressing issues within, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Leadership theory and practice

  • Strategic management, finance, economics, and organizational decision-making

  • Organizational behaviour, human resource management, and applied psychology

  • Public administration, governance, public finance, health, education, and policy reform

  • Entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation management, and economic development

  • Digital transformation, e-governance, and technology-enabled leadership

  • Corporate governance, ethics, leadership, sustainability, and financial accountability

  • Institutional development, capacity building, and socio-economic transformation

  • Change management, leadership, organizational learning, and behavioural dynamics

  • Cross-cultural management, international leadership, and global economic systems

 Manuscript Structure

Manuscript Length: 6,000 – 8,000 words (including references, tables, and appendices). 

✓ Abstract: Not exceeding 250 words, summarizing the purpose, methodology, major findings, and implications. 

✓ Referencing Style: APA (7th Edition). 

✓ Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. All submissions will undergo initial originality check before sending for double-blind peer review.
